The illustration parodies standard Hanafuda (Japanese playing card) motifs by placing Hideyoshi in green swim trunks, sunglasses, and a regal crown, while sporting a luxurious, fur-lined royal robe. He holds a golden sceptre in front of a giant sun and structures inspired by Japanese castle steps.
